We work with organisations to provide a help and support service that is free to our members and their parents and carers. Some of these services include Citizens Advice meetings and direct payments.
Direct payments
This is one of the ways that you can choose to use your personal budget. The council will pay your personal budget into your bank account. You can then arrange your own care and support needs that have been agreed in your support plan. Most people choose this direct payment option if they want to employ their own carers.
