Magpie Movers is our mixed ability dance group.
The group learn different routines and perform at various events throughout the year. They have performed at events such as the Christmas lights switch on, awards nights and even at local summer galas.
We also create dance and drama shows to perform in front of parents, carers and members of Magpies.
We have our own dance studio at our centre which includes full length mirrors, lighting, speakers, costumes and props.
As well as running our own sessions internally, we also invite outside theatre companies to hold workshops and performances. This includes Dark Horse Theatre, Mind the Gap and North East Producers.
